Lifetime Reliability Solutions
404 Scarborough Dr.
I am a Comprehensive Risk Abatement Consultant focused on enterprises not yet locked-in to asset management cultures dominated by heavily marketed, media glamorized risk abatement strategies such as Six Sigma. Target enterprises include small to medium sized manufacturing, medical and service businesses as well as relatively new industries such as Wind and Solar. Complex fossil fuel technologies are also included in the focus because they need comprehensive risk abatement and not incremental solutions to narrowly defined problems.
I provide stand-alone consulting in several domains including but not limited to: • SOP documentation having Target, Tolerance and Test for an Accuracy Controlled Enterprise • Predictive Maintenance with Precision Principles • Strategies for reducing both failure frequency and failure consequence • Diagnostics and remedial measures for unusual corrosion phenomena • Diagnostics and remedial options for metallurgical anomalies • Integrated Consulting Services • Refining and Chemical Process Industry Risk Assessment • Refinery Failure Prevention and Materials Reliability Assurance • Wind Turbine Reliability Optimization • Due Diligence for Wind Farm Development • Due Diligence for Wind Farm Acquisition Investment
Enlighten Scientific LLC

Experience-based consulting and educational services to clients involved in the development and manufacture of colloid-based products.
I leverage the learnings of my 24-year career in the pharmaceutical industry to teach the essential scientific and technical concepts at a level appropriate for the unique needs of each client. I want to dispel the idea that colloid science is complicated, too academic, and challenging to implement. I know that by doing so, my clients will save time and money, and improve the robustness of their products. I apply the skills I developed learning colloid science (my formal discipline) to the resolution of problems in unrelated areas. I use critical visual observation of physical products, processes, and datasets to identify patterns that others fail to see. Such assessment brings about a rapid and inexpensive resolution to complex and costly problems.
DRM Chemical Process Services

38 years as a chemical engineer in the specialty chemicals industry; 14 years in chemical reaction engineering followed by 24 years in process engineering. Empirical project and process chemical engineering experience in pilot plant and manufacturing environments. Founder, designer, and head brewer of a microbrewery.
I can assist you with developing/designing/validating chemical processes, chemical equipment choice, solving current process problems, evaluating toll manufacturers, and imparting knowledge of chemical and engineering principles to your employees. My experience in specialty chemical pilot plants along with manufacturing has provided me hands-on problem solving opportunities and the knowledge gained from solving those opportunities. I have kept a close understanding of the chemistry's that I engineered for and I bring that blending of chemistry with engineering into all my work.
